Miley Cyrus is preparing "something beautiful" for her fans as she teases her forthcoming visual album.

On Monday (March 24), the "Midnight Sky" singer shared the first look at her "highly-anticipated" ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, with a stunning post on Instagram sharing the album artwork. The project, which drops in May via Columbia Records and serves as a follow-up to 2023's Endless Summer Vacation that featured the Grammy-winning hit "Flowers," will feature 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett.

The artwork, shot by fashion photographer Glen Luchford, captures Cyrus wearing a vintage archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, which Cyrus' post says is "a striking nod to the album's bold aesthetic and visual storytelling."

Though not much is known about her upcoming record, she told previously told Harper's Bazaar in November 2024 that her new album, described by film director Panos Cosmatos as "more experimental than anything she's ever done," was inspired by Pink Floyd's The Wall "but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture."

The Something Beautiful album announcement comes days after Cyrus seemingly first teased the new era with a series of cryptic posters and billboards popping up around the world and her social media accounts headers changing to hit at the album title, per Variety.

Something Beautiful drops May 30.
