Feelin' Good: Michael Jordan Celebrates 60th Birthday with $10-Million Gift

NBA legend Michael Jordan turns 60-years-old on Friday (2/17/23), and is celebrating with a massive gift. However, it's not for him, instead His Airness made the single largest individual donation to Make-A-Wish in it's 43 year history...$10,000,000!

Helping kids in need through Make-A-Wish isn't a new passion for Jordan, he's been working with the organization since 1989 and was named "Chief Wish Ambassador" in 2008 for his efforts to help Wish kids and their families. He remains one of Make-A-Wish's most popular wish requests.

In a statement via Penn Live Make-A-Wish President & CEO Leslie Mottor said, "Everyone knows about Michael’s legacy on the basketball court, but it’s what he has consistently done off the court when no one’s watching that makes him a true legend for wish families and the wider Make-A-Wish community..."
