Star Story: Dad Gets A Kidney Thanks To A T-Shirt He Wore At Disney World

Today's Star Story is an incredible act of selflessness from a stranger to a fellow father in need of a kidney. Rob Leibowitz is a father of 5 who was going to die if he didn't get a kidney transplant. Out of desperation, he made a t-shirt that read, "In Need Of Kidney, O-Positive" and listed his phone number on it and proceeded to wear the shirt for 9 days in-a-row at Disney World! Someone else at the park saw Rob's shirt and posted a photo of it online where it quickly went viral. Pretty soon Rob was getting calls from all over the country from people wanting to help. Eventually Rob got a voicemail from Fort Wayne, Indiana resident Richie Sully that said,"Hi, my name is Richie. I saw your post. I have an extra kidney. I’m O-positive. You’re more than welcome to have it." Richie, who was also a single father, had saw the story online and just felt compelled to help. Last week they underwent the procedure and Rob will now get to lead a much longer life with his children all because of some creativity on his part, and the generosity of a complete stranger! Amazing...Would you give a complete stranger an organ??
