As Jean Puegh was stopped at a traffic light in Grand Haven, Michigan, another driver alerted her that there was a cat stuck somewhere in her car. Not sure how to handle the situation, she called 911 and they directed her to a car dealership.
Thankfully, the mechanics at the Preferred Chevrolet dealership knew exactly what to do and within minutes, they removed a tiny striped kitten who had gotten stuck in the wheel well of Puegh’s Buick Encore.
The little stowaway got even luckier that day, Sara Weeber, an employee who witnessed the kitten’s liberation, adopted the little furball. And she named him Encore, after the model of the SUV he was rescued from.
