Here’s a shocker – Prince was the top selling artist in 2016. The late singer’s catalog of albums and songs has sold 7-point-7 million copies in the US. Of that number, 2-point-3 million were traditional album sales and 5-point-4 million were from digital song downloads.
Oh, and that new Prince music we thought we’d get? A judge ruled in favor of Prince’s estate. That means that George Ian Boxill doesn’t have the right to distribute “Deliverance” to the public.
