Oprah Tried Google-ing Herself For The First Time

For regular folk like me, not a whole lot comes up when you Google yourself. Maybe just some social media profiles and maybe a mention of you on a college website, big whoop, right?

But when you're Oprah Winfrey, well ... things are a bit different.

Oprah recently decided to Google herself for the very first time and was pretty pleased with what she found, which shouldn't be all that surprising being that she's Oprah and she is literally known for her charity work and generally doing great things for others.

Oprah admitted she felt "so impressed" with herself after the Google session, and if that's how you leave after Googling yourself, well you're doing something VERY right.

Oprah talked about what she learned from her Google experience in an interview (and GORGEOUS cover).

"This is what I didn’t know: that I was the first African-American self-made billionaire. Did not know that.

"I mean, that's a HUGE feat, but also hilarious that she said it so casually like, "wow, I'm a billionaire, so that's cool."

But when you're Oprah, I don't think you really have to spend too much time worried about expenses, so, yeah, it's probably easy to forget how it all happened.

But her casual demeanor doesn't mean she hasn't worked incredibly hard for it all. As you likely know, her incredibly successful show, The Oprah Winfrey Show ran from 1986 to 2011 and she now has her own magazine and TV network as well.

What else did Oprah not know about herself?

She has donated more to charity in the 20th century than any other African-American. And she's pretty proud of it: "I said, this is really good!"

Check out the interview below:

In the interview she shared what makes her the most frustrated:

"My  biggest frustration is with young people who think that... they think  that success is to happen like that [in the snap of a finger]. They  think that there isn't a process to it... How I got to be a brand was  everyday, making choices that felt like this was the right move."

So  yeah, if you want to Google yourself someday to have some Oprah-worthy  results, maybe think about your path to success. It might just need a  little more time!

And keep watching Oprah videos. She's incredible!
