Only once have I been lucky enough to make it downtown to see our spectacular fireworks live in person. But maybe … I’m hoping I’ll get to change that statement tonight! Still waiting to hear if plans have been finalized with friends yet. Otherwise, I’ll be watching on TV from my livingroom which is normally our family’s tradition.
The fireworks tonight feature over 10,000 pyrotechnic effects and last about 24 minutes. The big booms and crackles can be seen and heard for miles along the Detroit riverfront. Showtime: 9:55pm.
