This would be such a beautiful sight to see in person, don't you think? Hope you have a passport though cuz you'll need to travel to Peru.
Is this for real? Are the mountains really rainbow-ish in color? Yes!
The reason we see the rainbow colors is due to the minerals in the ground. For example, iron makes the ground red. It's oxidized limonite that shows up brown and the bright yellow could be due to iron sulphide. I read that it's chlorite that will often cause the varying shades of green.Whatever the natural scientific reason this happens, it's beautiful!
