Airline Passenger Gropes Woman During Flight Because Trump "Says It's OK"

A passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight from Houston to Albuquerque was arrested after he was accused of grabbing a woman's breast while she slept. According to the criminal complaint, Bruce Michael Alexander justified his actions by telling police officers that "the President of the United States says it's OK to grab women by their private parts."

The woman, who was identified only by her initials, C.W., told police that Alexander groped her twice. She said that she was sleeping and "felt her clothes move and touching of fingers on her right side at and around her 'bra line.'” She assumed it was just an accidental touch by somebody and tried to go back to sleep.

When it happened again about 30 minutes later, she "saw a hand that had thick fingers, were hairy and dirty fingernails" reach around the seat and grope her. She stood up and confronted the man sitting behind her, and told the flight crew. They moved her to a seat in the back of the plane, and when the flight landed in Albuquerque, Alexander was taken into custody.

In a written statement, Alexander denied the allegations, claiming that he was sleeping for most of the flight. He said he remembered the woman sitting in front of him changing seats, but could not describe her. Alexander made the comment about President Trump while he was being transported to the police station.
