Bald Eagle Lands on Major League Baseball Player


The National anthem got interesting in Minnesota yesterday (4/5) when the Twins welcomed the Seattle Mariners to town. A bald eagle was released to fly over the field during the anthem but took a detour and landed on Seattle pitcher James Paxton instead of going back to it's handler.  Paxton was seemingly unfazed and went on to pitch well even though Seattle lost.  

Baseball and birds have a sorted history. Remember when that poor bird put itself in front of a Randy Johnson fastball??? Ouch...
