Remember when Tommy freaked out at having gum in his hair? Imagine if he or any of his kids got lice. Should kids with lice be able to come to school? New research says YES!

We started doing some investigating after we got this note from Kayla: "My daughter has lice. I'm sure she got it at school. Should parents be able to send their children to school if they have it?!" HELP

The American Academy of Pediatrics took another look at the science, and said there's no evidence that head lice pose a disease risk, or are a sign of bad hygiene. What's more, they say there's no evidence that sending a child home reduces the spread of lice, or that in-school screenings can control outbreaks. Click here for the AAP report.
