A Tennessee high school senior was allegedly suspended after breaking a class rule of saying, “bless you” after a classmate sneezed.  The teacher told her that the term was for church and, "we’re not going to have ‘godly speaking’ in my class." The girl said, "we have a constitutional right.”  She was then forced to finish the class period in in-school suspension because their daughter was ‘aggressive and disruptive’ and that it was a classroom distraction.

The phrase, apparently, is on a list of things students were not allowed to say in that class, including, "my bad," ''hang out," ''dumb," ''stupid" and "stuff."  The assistant Principal said there are "two sides to every story."

Do you find a co-worker saying, "bless you" offense?
